This is very useful for spotting those tricky-to-find collectibles. The X-Ray Ape costume from Chapter 10 Act 1 will allow you to see Drops and Balan Statues through walls, highlighted in green. You can change costumes as you see fit at any checkpoint, just stand still on it for a moment until the wardrobe tent appears. If there’s no Chapter and Act indicator next to a costume that means you can get it in the level, and I’ll tell you how. I’ve listed at the top of each section which costumes you’ll need to use. Once you have completed the last stage and have access to a majority of costumes, you should be fully equipped for 100% completion.
In order to collect all Balan Statues, you will need a few extra costumes so you should first complete the story before doing a collectible run.
